Savana Lite Customize section

To customize Savana Lite, please go to appearance > themes > customize

Color Scheme

From this section you can manage the color scheme of Savana Lite

  1. Body Color Schemes
    You can select one of available color scheme.

Page width

From this section you can manage the page width of Savana Lite

  1. Screen greater than 768px
  2. Screen greater than 992px
  3. Screen greater than 1200px

Mobile menu

From this section you can manage how to open the sub items of mobile menu

  1. Clicking on the down arrow
  2. Clicking on the whole link

General settings

From this section you can manage the general settings of Savana Lite

  1. Enable or disable the topbar
  2. Enable or disable the sticky header feature
  3. Enable or disable the breadcrumb
  4. Enable or disable the category title under the black container
  5. Enable or disable the searched item under the black container
  6. Show or hide the category name below the post title
  7. Show or hide the post author above the post title
  8. Show or hide the post date above the post title
  9. Enable or disable the post format icon at hover
  10. Enable or disable a different layout for the Aside, Link and Quote posts
  11. Enable or disable the read more button
  12. Enable or disable the back to top button

Slideshow settings

From this section you can manage the settings of featured area slideshow

  1. Enable or disable the stage padding option to display neighbours items
  2. Enable or disable the caption overlay
  3. Select the position of slideshow (inside the top or the header widget area)
  4. Choose how many items load on the slideshow

WooCommerce > Savana Lite settings

From this section you can manage the settings of WooCommerce.

  1. Enable or disable the header cart
  2. Select the icon for the header cart
  3. Enable or disable the cross sell products on cart page
  4. Enable or disable the related products on product page
  5. Enable or disable the up sell products on product page
  6. Make linkable the product thumbnails on WooCommerce category pages
  7. Choose the layout of WooCommerce categories

Layouts

From this section you can manage the layouts of Savana Lite

  1. Set a different layout for homepage: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  2. Set a different layout for categories: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  3. Set a different layout for search result: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout
  4. Set a different layout for the read more button

Copyright and social links

From this section you can manage the copyright text and social links

  1. Add the copyright text
  2. Add the link of all the major social networks
  3. Enable or disable the feed RSS button

Savana Lite Featured Area

Featured area settings

From this section you can enable the featured area and the featured links section

  1. Enable or disable the featured links section

Featured Links

From this section you can manage the settings of each featured link

  1. Image
    you can select an image for each featured link from your WordPress media folder
  2. Title
    you can insert a title for each featured link
  3. URL
    you can insert the URL for each featured link

Savana Lite Typography

Logo

From this section you can manage the typography of the logo.

  1. Logo font size
    You can set the size of logo
  2. Logo description font size
    You can set the size of logo description
  3. Description top margin
    You can add a space between the logo and the description
  4. Logo weight
    You can choose the font weight for the logo
  5. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase logo

Top menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the top menu.

  1. Menu font size
    You can set the size of main menu
  2. Menu weight
    You can choose the font weight for the menu
  3. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase menu

Menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the menu.

  1. Menu font size
    You can set the size of main menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the content

Headlines

From this section you can manage the typography of the headlines

  1. Headlines font size
    You can set the size of each headline (h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6)
  2. Headlines weight
    You can choose the font weight for the headlines
  3. Headlines transform
    You can display an uppercase title

How to manage the post formats

When you choose YES under Savana Lite Main Settings > General Settings > Post Format, please follow the instructions below to configure properly these post formats:

  • Link post format use the post title as link name and the first link on the post content as link, if available, or the post permalink.
  • Quote post format use the post title as author name and the post content as author quote.

How to translate a WordPress theme

We suggest Poedit, to translate Savana Lite theme. It’s available for free on poedit.net.

Open Poedit, go to File > New from POT file and choose savana-lite.pot , under savana-lite/languages/ and choose your native language.

When you’ve finished, upload bot files with your language code (for example it_IT.po and it_IT.mo ), under the language folder of Savana Lite using a FTP client.
