This guide explains how to create, edit, duplicate, delete, and save countdowns.<\/p>\n

Create a new countdown<\/h2>\n

  3. The plugin creates a new countdown with default settings.<\/li>\n
  4. Open the countdown and edit the settings on the Settings page.<\/li>\n

      What it does<\/strong>
      \nSaves the current countdown without leaving the edit screen.<\/p>\n

      When to use it<\/strong>
      \nWhen you want to save your changes and continue working on the same timer.<\/p>\n

      Effect on the frontend<\/strong>
      \nThe saved changes are applied to the shortcode linked to the countdown.<\/p>\n

      Important notes<\/strong>
      \nIf you change the countdown ID, timer type, duration, or tracking method, the timer behavior may change for visitors.<\/p>\n

      Save and exit<\/h3>\n

      What it does<\/strong>
      \nSaves the countdown and returns to the countdown list.<\/p>\n

      When to use it<\/strong>
      \nWhen you have finished the configuration.<\/p>\n

      Effect on the frontend<\/strong>
      \nThe changes are applied as with Save countdown.<\/p>\n

      Duplicate<\/h3>\n

      What it does<\/strong>
      \nCreates a copy of the current countdown.<\/p>\n

      When to use it<\/strong>
      \nWhen you want to create a timer similar to an existing one.<\/p>\n

      Effect on the frontend<\/strong>
      \nThe copy will have a new shortcode and a separate countdown ID.<\/p>\n

      Important notes<\/strong>
      \nFor Evergreen timers, the copy uses separate tracking. The new countdown does not inherit the state of the original timer.<\/p>\n

      Delete<\/h3>\n

      What it does<\/strong>
      \nDeletes the current countdown.<\/p>\n

      When to use it<\/strong>
      \nWhen the timer should no longer be used.<\/p>\n

      Effect on the frontend<\/strong>
      \nShortcodes linked to the deleted countdown will no longer display that timer.<\/p>\n

      Important notes<\/strong>
      \nDeletion removes the countdown configuration. Any existing tracking data may remain in the database until automatic cleanup.<\/p>\n

      Exit<\/h3>\n

      What it does<\/strong>
      \nReturns to the list without saving recent changes.<\/p>\n

      When to use it<\/strong>
