The Click statistics<\/strong> feature allows you to monitor interactions with the related posts displayed by TIP Related Posts Pro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When enabled, the plugin records clicks on related posts and provides an overview directly from the WordPress administration area.<\/p>\n

Enable click statistics<\/h2>\n

  1. Go to TIP Related Posts Pro<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Open the Statistics<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  3. Enable Enable click statistics<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Configure the optional statistics settings.<\/li>\n
  5. Save the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once enabled, the plugin will start collecting new click events.<\/p>\n

    Previously generated clicks cannot be recovered.<\/p>\n

    Database storage and performance<\/h2>\n

    When click statistics are enabled, the plugin creates a dedicated database table to store the recorded click events.<\/p>\n

    Each tracked click adds a new event to this table.<\/p>\n

    Click tracking is performed asynchronously and should have a minimal impact on normal site performance. However, on high-traffic websites, collecting a large number of events may increase database storage and activity over time.<\/p>\n

    You can use the Statistics retention (days)<\/strong> option to automatically remove older events and limit the size of the statistics table.<\/p>\n

    Customize the click rate limit<\/h2>\n

    By default, the plugin accepts up to 1,000 click events per minute for the same source and destination content pair. This limit helps reduce abnormal automated activity while being high enough to avoid affecting typical visitor traffic.<\/p>\n

    Developers can customize the limit using the trpp_click_statistics_rate_limit<\/strong> filter:
