How to customize Newsp Pro theme

Please note that: the customize panel are similar to Savana WordPress theme

To customize Newsp Pro, please go to Appearance > Customize

Newsp Pro Main Settings

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Color Scheme

From this section you can manage the color scheme of Newsp Pro

  1. Body Color Schemes
    You can select the color scheme of body alternately, if you set NONE, you will able to choose a custom color going to Appareance > Colors

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Topbar section

From this section you can manage the topbar.

  1. Left column
    Date format
    – You can set the date format
  2. Right columns
    You can select the element to show on right column.
    – Show the topbar text
    – Show the secondary menu
    – Show the social icons

Newsp Pro Main Settings > News ticker

From this section you can manage the newsticker.

  1. Enable the newsticker
    You can enable the newsticker
  2. News ticker title
    You can insert the title for the news ticker
  3. News ticker category
    You can select the category of the news ticker
  4. News ticker orderby
    You can select how to order the articles.
    – Post title
    – Randomly
    – Comment count
    – Post date
  5. News ticker sort order
    You can select the order of the articles.
    – Ascending
    – Descending
  6. News ticker limit
    You can set the limit of the news ticker
  7. News ticker layout
    You can select the layout for the news ticker.
    – Light style
    – Dark style

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Featured posts grid

From this section you can manage the featured posts grid on the homepage.

  1. Enable or disable the featured posts grid
  2. Show the featured posts grid only on the first page of pagination on your homepage. Enable this option to display the featured posts grid exclusively on the first page.
  3. Enable or disable the title of featured posts section
  4. Insert the title of featured posts section
  5. Featured posts style
    You can select a style for the featured posts section.
    – Light style
    – Grey style
    – Dark style
  6. Featured posts layout
    You can select a layout for the featured posts section.
    – Layout 1
    – Layout 2
    – Layout 3
    – Layout 4
    – Layout 5
    – Layout 6
    – Layout 7
  7. Select the category of the featured posts
  8. Featured posts orderby
    You can select how to order the articles.
    – ID
    – Author
    – Post title
    – Post date
    – Number of comments
  9. Featured posts sort order
    You can select the order of the articles.
    – Ascending
    – Descending

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Trending posts

From this section you can manage trending posts on the homepage.

  1. Enable or disable the trending posts
  2. Show the trending posts only on the first page of pagination on your homepage. Enable this option to display the trending posts exclusively on the first page.
  3. Enable or disable the title of trending posts section
  4. Option to truncate long post titles with ellipsis in the vertical carousels of the trending posts section.
  5. Insert the title of trending posts section
  6. Select the category of the trending posts
  7. Trending posts orderby
    You can select how to order the articles.
    – ID
    – Author
    – Post title
    – Post date
    – Number of comments
  8. Trending posts sort order
    You can select the order of the articles.
    – Ascending
    – Descending
  9. Trending posts images layout
    You can select the layout for the trending posts images.
    – Round images
    – Square images
  10. Edit the label of post author

Newsp Pro Main Settings > General settings

From this section you can manage the general settings of Newsp Pro

  1. Enable or disable the breadcrumb
  2. Breadcrumb layout
    You can select the layout for the breadcrumb.
    – Light style
    – Dark style
  3. Enable or disable a label before the list of recent posts on the homepage
  4. Show the homepage label only on the first page of pagination on your homepage. Enable this option to display the homepage label exclusively on the first page.
  5. Replace the default label before the list of recent posts on the homepage
  6. Above post blocks widget area only on the first page of pagination
    Enable this option to show the “Above post blocks widget area” only on the first page of pagination on your homepage
  7. Above posts widget area only on the first page of pagination
    Enable this option to show the “Above posts widget area” only on the first page of pagination on your homepage
  8. Below posts widget area only on the first page of pagination
    Enable this option to show the “Below posts widget area” only on the first page of pagination on your homepage
  9. Remove border and spacing for Image widget on homepage widget areas
  10. Remove border and spacing for HTML widget on homepage widget areas
  11. Enable or disable the header search
  12. Enable or disable the secondary menu within the scrollable sidebar on mobile devices
  13. Enable or disable the placeholder on the homepage, archives, and search results
  14. Enable or disable the category title
  15. Enable or disable the searched item
  16. Enable or disable the back to top button

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Single posts settings

  1. Option to hide the featured image in posts and pages
  2. Enable or disable the post categories
  3. Enable or disable the background color for post categories in the post meta
  4. Enable or disable the post icon
  5. Enable or disable the author name
  6. Replace the default label of post author
  7. Enable or disable the post date
  8. Enable or disable the related posts section
  9. Enable or disable the post author info box
  10. Option to use a different layout for the Aside, Link and Quote posts

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Layouts

From this section you can manage the layouts of Newsp Pro

  1. Set a different layout for homepage: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout or masonry layout with a left or right sidebar
  2. Set a different layout for categories: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout or masonry layout with a left or right sidebar
  3. Set a different layout for search result: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout or masonry layout with a left or right sidebar
  4. Set a different layout for portfolio categories result: full width, left or right sidebar, masonry layout or masonry layout with a left or right sidebar
  5. Set a different layout for the read more button

Newsp Pro Main Settings > Copyright and social links

From this section you can manage the copyright text and social links

  1. Add the copyright text
  2. Manage the social links (max 10 buttons)
  3. Enable or disable the feed RSS button

Newsp Pro Main Settings > WooCommerce settings

From this section you can manage the settings of WooCommerce.

  1. Enable or disable the header cart
  2. Enable or disable the cross sell products on cart page
  3. Enable or disable the related products on product page
  4. Enable or disable the up sell products on product page
  5. Make linkable the product thumbnails on WooCommerce category pages
  6. Choose the layout of shop page
  7. Choose the layout of WooCommerce categories

Newsp Pro Featured links

Newsp Pro Featured links > Featured links settings

From this section you can enable the featured links section

  1. Enable or disable the featured links section

Newsp Pro Featured links > Featured Link item (max 3)

From this section you can manage the settings of each featured link

  1. Image
    you can select an image for each featured link from your WordPress media folder
  2. Title
    you can insert a title for each featured link
  3. URL
    you can insert the URL for each featured link

Newsp Pro Typography

Newsp Pro Typography > Body

From this section you can choose a Google Font for the page body

Newsp Pro Typography > Logo

From this section you can manage the typography of the logo.

  1. Logo font family
    you can choose a Google Font for the logo
  2. Logo weight
    You can choose the font weight for the logo
  3. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase logo
  4. Logo font size
    You can set the size of logo
  5. Logo description font family
    you can choose a Google Font for the logo description
  6. Logo description weight
    You can choose the font weight for the logo description
  7. Logo description font size
    You can set the size of logo description
  8. Description top margin
    You can add a space between the logo and the description

Newsp Pro Typography > Menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the menu.

  1. Menu font family
    you can choose a Google Font for the main menu
  2. Menu weight
    You can choose the font weight for the menu
  3. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase menu
  4. Menu font size
    You can set the size of main menu

Newsp Pro Typography > Mobile menu

From this section you can manage the typography of the mobile menu.

  1. Menu font family
    you can choose a Google Font for the mobile menu
  2. Menu weight
    You can choose the font weight for the mobile menu
  3. Text transform
    You can display an uppercase mobile menu
  4. Menu font size
    You can set the size of mobile menu

Newsp Pro Typography > Content

From this section you can manage the typography of the content

  1. Font size
    You can set the size of content

Newsp Pro Typography > Headlines

From this section you can manage the typography of the headlines

  1. Headlines font family
    you can choose a Google Font for the headlines
  2. Headlines weight
    You can choose the font weight for the headlines
  3. Headlines text transform
    You can display an uppercase title
  4. Headlines font size
    You can set the size of each headline (h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6)

Newsp Pro Typography > Post meta

  1. Font size
    You can set the size of post meta
  2. Text transform
    You can display the post meta in uppercase

Newsp Pro PostBlocks

Newsp Pro PostBlocks > Newsp Pro postBlock item (max 8)

From these sections you can manage the settings of each postBlock

  1. Truncate post titles
    Enable this option to truncate long post titles with ellipsis.
  2. postBlock label
    you can show or hide the postBlock label
  3. Custom label
    you can customize the label for each postBlock or leave it empty to display the category name (if selected)
  4. Category
    you can select the category of this postblock
  5. Layout
    you can select the layout of this postblock (module 1, module 2, module 3, module 4) or set Disable to disable the post block
