Please follow these step to configurate properly our plugin.
1. Go to Internal Linking of Related Contents page and open the Plugin settings tab
Below the list of all available options:
Appearance settings
– Template , you can select one of 12 available templates for the related contents.
– Background color , colorpicker to select the background color for the button
– Background color at hover , colorpicker to select the background color for the button
– Container background color , colorpicker to select the background color for the container (used as the background color for templates 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9)
– Container background color at hover , colorpicker to select the background color for the container at hover (used as the background color for templates 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9)
– Text color , colorpicker to select the text color
– Container text color , colorpicker to select the container text color (used as the text color for templates 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9)
– Text color at hover , colorpicker to select the text color at hover
– Button text color , colorpicker to select the text color for the button
– Border color , colorpicker to select the border color for related posts (template 4,6 and 7).
– List mode border color , colorpicker to select the border color for the list mode, available with the [ilrc_advanced] shortcode.
– Margin top , margin above the related content.
– Margin bottom , margin below the related content.
Typography settings
– Font size (Mobile) , font size for the mobile devices (CSS media query: 0 to 480px)
– Font size (Tablet) , font size for the tablet devices (CSS media query: 481px to 768px)
– Font size (Desktop) , font size for the desktop devices (CSS media query: min-width 769px)
– Font size (AMP) , font size the AMP pages (CSS media query: min-width 769px)
Related posts settings
– Display type , Select how to display the related posts.
- Inline is the default option, and it will add a single related post after a specific number of paragraphs, based on the options you choose.
- Group related posts into a specific location will group all available related posts into one place.
– Grouped position , you can select after how many paragraphs insert the group of related posts.
– Grouped title , you can insert the descriptive title of the related posts section
– Grouped top margin , margin above the group of related posts
– Grouped bottom margin , margin below the group of related posts
Engine settings
– Order by , you can select how to order the related contents.
– – Post title
– – Randomly
– – Post date
– Sort order , you can select the ordering of related contents.
– – Ascending , to load the snippet only on desktop devices
– – Descending , to load the snippet only on smartphone devices
– Count , you can select how many related contents for each post (1 to 20)
– Prevent insertion directly after headlines, once activated, this feature will prevent the insertion of related content immediately after an internal title, instead placing the content after the first available free paragraph (please note that this may distort the interval of related posts).
– Interval , you can select after how many paragraphs insert each related content (1 to 20)
– Engine search , you can select how to get the related contents
– – Based of post categories
– – Based of post tags
– – Categories and post tags
– – Post title (Using the full title to search the related posts)
– – Post title (Use the full title to search the related posts), filter posts by retrieving only those in the same post categories
– – Post title (Use the full title to search the related posts), filter posts by retrieving only those in the same post tags
– – Post title (Using each word in the title to search the related posts)
– – Post title (Use each word in the title to search the related posts), filter posts by retrieving only those in the same post categories

– Target attribute , you can set the target attribute
– – _self , to open the related content on the same window
– – _blank , to open the related content in a new window
– Rel attribute , you can set the rel attribute

– the_content hook priority , if the related contents does not show, please change the priority of the_content hook.
Featured image settings
– Hide posts without the featured image , you can hide all posts without the featured image
– Placeholder image , you can view a placeholder image, if the featured image is not defined
– Featured image width , you can set the width of the featured image
– Featured image height , you can set the height of the featured image
– Change the thumbnail function , you can enable this option if you are using template 4,6,7,8 or 9 but the related posts are not displayed
Filter settings
– Device , that means that the related contents will be loaded when the customer use one or more chosen device (for example you can select desktop to hide the related contents on mobile and tablet devices)
– Categories to exclude , you can select one or more categories to exclude from the related contents
– Post tags to exclude , you can select one or more post tags to exclude from the related contents
– Post to exclude , you can select one or more posts to exclude from the list of related contents
– Posts without related contents , you can select one or more posts where you want to remove the related contents
Custom post types settings
– Supported custom post types , you can enable one or more custom post type (Important: unlike the WordPress posts, you can not use yet a specific taxonomy if the custom post type uses more than one taxonomy, such as WooCommerce. In this case, the list of related product will be generated based of the product categories and product tags.)
– Filter by , that means that you can enable one or more associated taxonomies for the selected custom post type
– Call to action for the custom post type , that means that you can set the call to action for each selected custom post type
– WordPress pages , Once WordPress pages are enabled, it is possible to include child pages (if available) or link pages together using keywords.
Miscellaneous settings
– Call to action for the WordPress posts , call to action for the related posts
– Default call to action for the shortcode , call to action for the shortcode
– Exclude CSS classes from containing related contents , you can remove the related contents inside specific elements by class name
– Exclude HTML elements from containing related contents , you can remove the related contents inside specific elements by HTML tag name
– Remove related posts in articles where the shortcode is present , you can remove the related contents inside all articles and pages where our shortcode is present
