TIP Countdown Generator Pro widget
What it does
Displays one countdown previously created and saved in the plugin panel.
When to use it
Use this widget when the same countdown configuration must be reused in one or more Elementor pages and centrally managed from the plugin panel.
How to use it
- Edit a page with Elementor.
- Search for TIP Countdown Generator Pro.
- Drag the standard widget into the page.
- Open the Saved countdown section.
- Select the countdown to display.
- Update the page.
Countdown
Selects one of the countdowns created in the plugin panel. If no valid countdown is selected, the widget displays a notice in place of the timer.
TIP Countdown Generator Pro Builder widget
What it does
Creates a custom evergreen, specific-date, or recurring countdown directly inside Elementor.
When to use it
Use this widget when the countdown configuration is specific to the current Elementor layout and does not need to be managed from the plugin panel.
Important notes
The builder settings are stored in the Elementor page data. To reuse and centrally manage the same countdown on multiple pages, create a saved countdown and use the standard widget instead.
The widget automatically creates a unique and editable countdown ID. The ID includes the current Elementor document and widget identifiers, preventing different evergreen widgets from sharing the same tracking data.

General
The General section is initially collapsed. Open it to view or edit the generated countdown ID.
- ID countdown
Identifies the countdown in the page markup and separates its evergreen tracking data from other countdowns. Elementor generates a unique value when the widget is added, but the value can be edited.

Countdown type

Starts a personal countdown from the visitor’s first tracked visit. - Specific date
Counts down to one absolute date and time using the site timezone. - Recurring
Runs repeated countdown windows according to a schedule.
Evergreen settings

Sets the day portion of the personal duration. - Evergreen hours
Sets the hour portion of the personal duration. - Evergreen minutes

Sets the second portion of the personal duration. - Tracking method
Determines how the first visit is recognized and how the countdown start time is shared.
Tracking methods
- Cookie
Associates the countdown start time with a browser cookie. A different browser or private session receives a separate countdown. - IP
Associates the start time with the visitor’s anonymized IP address. Visitors sharing the same IP also share the countdown start time. - Cookie or IP
Uses both identifiers and keeps the earliest available start time. A known IP can initialize a new cookie, while an existing cookie can preserve the start time after a network change. - Logged-in user
Associates the start time with the WordPress account, so it follows the user across browsers and devices. Visitors who are not logged in fall back to cookie tracking.
Tracking applies only to evergreen countdowns. The countdown ID is part of every tracking key, so different IDs maintain independent start times.
Specific date settings
- End date/time
Sets the absolute date and time when the countdown reaches zero. The site timezone is used.
Recurring settings

Sets the recurrence interval. - Recurrence unit
Repeats the schedule in days or weeks. - Duration days, hours, minutes, and seconds
Define how long each active countdown window lasts. - Restart delay days, hours, minutes, and seconds
Define the pause between the end of one active window and the next restart. - Run on days
Selects the weekdays on which the countdown is allowed to run. - On the unselected day(s)
Countdown to the next selected day displays the time remaining before the next allowed day.
Hide the countdown timer removes the timer on unselected days. - Before start
Hide timer completely hides all output before the scheduled start.
Show message only displays only the waiting message.
Show message and countdown to start displays the waiting message and the time remaining before the active countdown starts. - Waiting message
Sets the message displayed before the scheduled start when the selected behavior includes a message. - Start date/time
Sets the initial date and time used to build the recurring schedule. - Timezone
Uses either the site timezone or a selected custom timezone. - Custom timezone
Selects the timezone used by the schedule when custom timezone mode is enabled. - Ends
Never keeps the recurring series active.
After recurrences stops it after the selected number of occurrences.
On date stops it at the selected date and time. - End after
Sets the maximum number of recurrences when After recurrences is selected. - End on date/time
Sets the final date and time when On date is selected.
Action on expiry
Controls what happens when an evergreen or specific-date countdown expires, or when a recurring series reaches its final end condition.
- Do nothing
Keeps the expired countdown visible at zero. - Hide the timer
Removes the countdown from the page. - Redirect to a URL
Redirects the visitor to the URL entered in Redirect URL. - Display a message
Replaces the timer with the content entered in Expiry message.
License notice
An active TIP Countdown Generator Pro license is required to add or edit these widgets. Existing widgets continue rendering on the frontend when the license is inactive, but their settings remain locked in Elementor.
